Pastor David A. Jones is the son of Eddie and Claretta Jones of North Philadelphia where he was born and raised. By Gods tender Grace and Mercy David grew into a dynamic and powerful man of God. He carries an apostolic anointing on his life and has witness three angelical visitations from God. It was there in 1990, that his assignment was made clear, to snatch souls headed to the lake of fire and bring into the kingdom of God.
On August 15, 1993, Reverend Jones was licensed to preach the gospel under the Guidance and Direction of the late Pastor William Everett. He was installed as Pastor of Bethlehem Baptist Church, later to be named Bethlehem of Deliverance Church located 2016 West Berks Street, in the heart of North Philadelphia on October 8, 1997.
Pastor Jones has attended several institutions of higher education which includes; Community College of Philadelphia, Howard University, Bethune Cookman College, Christian Stronghold Research and Development Institute, Pennsylvania Certification Board, Certified Recovery Specialist and The School of Kneeology.
As the former president of the 22nd Police Clergy of the City of Philadelphia,and and the reciepient of the 2009 Mayor's Making A Difference Award it.
Pastor David Jones’ faithfulness and passion for souls has launched him into full time ministry, taking the gospel of Jesus Christ to the streets, prisons, hospitals, drug infested neighborhoods and the community at large.
Pastor David Jones is the founder of the Joshua Achievement Center (JAC) which is a non profit, faith based, “one stop shop” rehabilitation center, consisting of three components: Education, Residential Drug and Alcohol Recovery Facilities and Workforce Development Programs. The Joshua Achievement Center is meeting the holistic needs of humanity through its focal point; “Transforming your Present, To Discover your Future.”
He has been married for 33 years to Dianne Jones, and they have 3 wonderful children, Donte, Donya and Davida, one son in-law Phillip II, two beautiful granddaughter’s Daniah and Hannah and on handsome grandson Phillip III.
